Yalambi Farm Stud

Yalambi Farm Stud is situated in the fertile Margaret River region of Western Australia, where the rolling green fields and abundant clear water provide a perfect playground for young horses. The stud was started in February, 2001 by the Hovell Family (of Perth, Western Australia) with the idea of producing quality international warmblood sporthorses.

Yalambi's stud manager, Rory Hovell, is an international showjumping rider who was short-listed for the Australian Showjumping team to Athens in 2004. Rory achieved an honours degree in Agri-business from the Royal Agricultural College at Cirencester in the U.K. He did his thesis on "Pedigree Nicking" (i.e. choosing the best possible combination of pedigrees) which, combined with his expert eye, has been invaluable in making his choices of mares for the stud.
