Yalambi has always placed its main emphasis on the mother line, and then combining it with high quality well suited stallions. Yalambi has considered it essential to start from modern typed imported European jumping mares, rather than trying to improve on the Australian thoroughbred. We can then combine our approved European stallions to produce the modern European youngster.

The broodmares that we've purchased are looked at with breeding and sport in mind, as after breeding one or two foals the mares will go into sport. These two perspectives however are easily combined as correct conformation, a kind eye, athletic movement, free jumping ability, and a great pedigree go together in both spheres. We however are not blinded by pedigree alone, and always look for mares with enough size and scope.
