Tinkerbell is a daughter of the stallion Cardinale (Zeus x Inschallah ). Yalambi was very keen to have the Zeus/Inschallah line in their breeding programme. Zeus - son of Arlequin (one of the distinguished Selle Francaise sires of international showjumpers and eventers) - was a consistent sire of top jumping horses over a long career in both Germany and Holland. Cardinale is jumping successfully at Grand Prix level in the U.S.

Her mother Inflight had a successful showjumping career in the U.S.A. with Rory Hovell jumping at 1.40m level. She was imported to Yalambi in 2002 to begin her breeding career. She has had 3 foals, the latter two both big, scopey and athletic. The first foal has been winning everything as a 6-7 year old in the U.S. and is jumping 1.35m already. Inflight is a daughter of the great stallion Galoubet A (Almé Z - Nystag - Boum III) and a granddaughter of Almé, one of the all time great jumping stallions. Galoubet had a huge international jumping career. He won three World Cup qualifiers in a row at Antwerp, Hertogenbosch and Dortmund before he retired at the age of ten to take up a full time breeding career. Galoubet ranked third on the WBFSH standings for 2000/2001, largely on the strength of his son Baloubet du Rouet who won three World Cups in a row as well as team bronze at Sydney Olympics.
